Moving forward with the Hallman Pit would be acting in bad faith as your constituency is clearly opposed to the project.
Firstly it has been in your bad faith with the community that the proposed gravel pit site is located within a Source Water Protection Area.
Next, you have demonstrated poor oversight within your community by also proposing a project that directly violates the Climate Emergency Declaration of Wilmot Township. An emergency declaration supported by your constituents.
I urge you to consider the long term effects this project will have on the township and not focus on the very short lived financial benefits that it may provide. As a private corporation Jackson Farms is not obliged to be concerned with the township's issues and has clearly displayed that their only loyalties lie vested in their own capital gains.
