I was part of a tour of the Pickering Nuclear Plant held for Teachers in the early 1970's. When we came to the lagoon where spent fuel was stored under water, someone asked how long that would be. It was a very long time. My memory of this is quite clear that this was a problem as the waste would accumulate and where could it be safely stored. It would all be solved by scientists. I don't think that has been solved in 2016. I support full speed ahead on developing renewable energy programs. As these programs expand more jobs and economic benefits will grow and our precious environment will be protected,
