I am totally against the spring bear hunt. There is no scientific evidence to support it. Hunters themselves admit they cannot distinguish between male and female bears when hunting. This causes orphaned cubs and subsequent imbalance in the natural environment that works quite well on its own without human abuse. Bear meat is not the chosen food of hunters. There is no valid reason to allow this hunt.
