I support the proposal to list and Restrict, preferably Prohibit, the six invasive plants listed in the ERO-019-1162 as well Restricting or Prohibiting the invasive fish and invertebrates in the ERO. I also support the proposal to regulate overland transport of boats and other equipment associated with the use of our waters in order to manage their movement and eliminate the transfer of aquatic plants and animals from one waterbody to another. I would also like to see the following invasive plants regulated, either as Restricted or Prohibited, according to a risk analysis performed by the MNRF or another agency in Canada or the United States: Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima) Norway Maple (Acer platanoides),Yellow Archangel (Lamiastrum galeobdolon), Yellow Iris (Iris pseudacorus), Curley-leaved Pondweed (Potamogeton crispus), Japanese Barberry (Berberis thunbergii), Winter Creeper Euonymous (Euonymus fortunei), Water Lettuce (Pistia stratoites), Chinese Silvergrass (MIscanthus sinensis).
