I don't believe I have to go further than drawing attention to the reports of sheer neglect and dishonesty from across the globe by the Water Bottle industry. At best, taxpayers will be sanctioning the encroachment of an industry that actively contributes to the immense amounts of plastics that are wreaking havoc to our waterways and food supplies. We have fought for decades to reduce plastics in our supermarkets and restaurants.

This harmful decision would most certainly be a step backwards and will be seen globally as further evidence that Ontario is not as progressive as we'd like to portray ourselves.
