It is essential that local municipalities have a say in any new and existing water bottling companies. With a goal of eliminating single use plastics i think that there should be a move for the existing companies to transition to more environmentally safe packaging and that the fees they pay to access the water should be increased. There should also be a moratorium on new companies in general.
