How was the limit of "379,000 litres per day in total within a municipality" established as the benchmark under which approval from the local municipality is not required? This reasoning should be included and transparent in any summary communication.
Agree that municipal/public needs should, in regulation, be prioritized over private water taking. We should be truthfully accounting for self-sufficiency & long term resilience ahead of (but in addition to) realizing the economic benefits of selling our resources to private entities.
