I am in full support of 2021-2024 CDM Framework.

Conservation Demand Programs can improve the Ontario Energy Sector if properly structured. I believe we should replace the current Energy Performance Program (EPP) with Toronto Hydro’s OPSaver program. The OPsaver has been very successful, more structured and provides the flexibility to allow the customer to choose what is in their best interest to achieve the energy efficiency targets.

In addition to extending Opsaver, a new CDM Framework Framework should include the provision of Energy Audit funding to cover at least 50% of the Audit cost and 50% of the cost to implement at least 1 energy efficiency measure identified from the audit (Capped @$10,000 for the measure with payback less than 5 years).
