The COVID-19 Economic Recovery Act, 2020 should have been posted for the required 30 days preferably more before being passed. I am concerned about projects not receiving an environmental assessment due to not looking at alternatives to the projects, environmental, social or economic implications.Additionally the public should have the ability to comment through the registry. In addition, with environmental deregulation I do not have confidence in the Ministry to protect natural environments or parks.
