I have been visiting this area since I was a 9 year old kid in 1997. I can picture the clear blue waters as if they were right in front of me. My first visit to Wolf Lake and the surrounding area lit a fire in me to experience the most beautiful corners of Ontario’s wilderness and I have since spent 100+ days Canoe Tripping in the province. My time spent there resulted in a low environmental impact and and admittedly modest economic impact. With that in mind, I will argue that the cumulative impact of all individuals inspiration from visiting such a pristine wilderness will absolutely provide a richer economic benefit than whatever will be gained from letting this agency extract naturals resources from it. I implore you to consider this when determining your approval of mineral exploration in this area. I want more than anything to bring my daughter to see this land the way I saw it 23 years ago.
