Why, in our endless search…

Why, in our endless search for individual wealth, do we encourage the ruination of a protected forest area that has provided endless recreation and enjoyment of this super-natural, old growth land....that cannot nor ever will be, replaced ?
To suggest there would be remediation of the land after it has been decimated by mining roads, unnatural traffic to which the creatures we believe we are protecting...are displaced, lose food supply areas and die ? A promise was made to protect this land...please, consider those promises and respect the considerations of previous governments and the fact that future generations must be our responsibility now ! Act with a responsible attitude and not just the term of your current government in mind ! Don’t waste our natural surroundings for the profit of aggressive development !
