I do not support this exploration proposal and ask that it be denied. This area is prized by so many for it’s wild lands and secluded nature. The public campsites that will be affected are frequently used by the public with care and respect for the environment, they should be protected for the interest of the public.
This forest is a rare forest type that attracts attention globally and that in itself should be respected and left alone. The details of the proposal are vague and do not describe the amount of damage it would cause to the forest and seems to allow area for confusion and miscommunication.
Please do not allow this proposal to go forward.
