I am very much in favour of expanding the live capture of wild raptors by licensed falconers. Licensed falconers play a very important role in conservation efforts, and should be supported in these efforts. For example, the Ontario Hawking Club goshawk monitoring and nest site field work has provided invaluable information about the breed.
