I support the expanding of the live capture of wild raptors, including the Goshawks. This further enriches a national heritage sport by allowing licensed individuals to responsibly use this vital resource putting Ontario on par with other governments in Canada and the United States that allow live capture. There is no evidence that taking raptors in this way negatively affects populations. Falconers, by law, have to properly take care of their raptors including housing. I see no problem with the proposal. All good things.
