Being able to trap wild passage raptors is an integral part to the practice of falconry. Not only is falconry an unparalleled way to foster a lifelong dedication to stewardship and conservation, but it has been at the core of some the most impactful environmental initiatives in history, such as The Peregrine Fund. Freeing up falconers to trap birds--without any sort of lottery system--is a step towards a better practice of falconry.
