Although Ontario has made some moves toward renewable energy, there is much more that needs to be done. Relying on nuclear energy for many decades to come is both risky and costly, while continued use of fossil fuels will certainly contribute to climate disruptions here and abroad. Attempting to move to 100% renewables as rapidly as possible is the only viable long-term solution to our energy needs.
