Very supportive of the initiative to allow short term water taking activities such as well development, pump tests and road construction to be processed under the EASR system and also the requirement to involve QP's .
These activities are low risk, and have minimal to no long term impacts. Work is often completed by individuals with extensive knowledge and field experience relevent to the regulatory requirements
This regulatory amendment will assist economically by reducing the administrative effort to advance projects while maintaining a regulated register of these activities.
