This comment is on behalf of my partner and I who live across from Bartek near Lake Ontario. We urge you to order concrete numbers of emissions and to ensure that Bartek is complying with ministry standards. It is not enough to make decisions on projected numbers when those chemicals cause health risks and put people's lives in jeopardy.
Furthermore, if emissions are too high of at risk chemicals, we urge you to take into account the people of Hamilton and their health. It is the responsibility of the government to protect us from companies who do not care about the citizens and only focus on production. Please protect us from these harmful chemicals so that we can continue to live here safely.
