I am in support of the proposed amendments to regulations for CHP combustion turbine systems (ERO # 019-1134). I understand that combustion engines (reciprocating engines) are already included in the EASR program (Chapter 1 of the EASR Publication) and the proposed amendments included in ERO # 019-1134 are limited to stationary combustion turbines only. In order to create a level playing field for combustion turbines and reciprocating engines, I ask that the MECP considers modernizing the framework for reciprocating engines with CHP technology so that comparable, low-risk systems of this type are also eligible for exemption from EASR.
