The ministry should repeal this proposed planning act. This would result in too much power to the political group in charge at any single point in time.
The municipality must represent the citizens in the municipality. The province and the municipality must work together.
Sweeping power to change zoning will not result for what’s best for the municipality & province. Is should be difficult to make large zoning changes & thus we must work together to find resolution.
Simply taking power away is not in our Canadian values. Inclusivity and team work are much better values - please repeal this planning act change.
