It seems like this play on 'we will not change any laws' is really just a play to exploit to the very limits the laws in place and then blame it on the previous government if people are upset. This is bad-faith consultation. Instead of listening to the relevant concerns people will express and actually work with them, your government will do what you always do-- shrug off their concerns while you pull up an ear to your donors' requests. Don't believe me? Where are the consultation results for the changes to the sex ed curriculum? Always remember, although you have a majority, 60% of this province did not support your party's vision. What happened to Ford's adage that he works for ALL Ontarians? Those 60% surely do not want your party to exploit loopholes in current Greenbelt legislation. Strengthen it. Enforce it. EXPAND IT. Don't built highways through farm lands. Don't build a factory near forests. And, for the love of God, stop pandering to the housing developers. Ontario Proud and their donors shouldn't dictate the direction of this province. Put your ears to the ground, PC Party, I am fairly representative of most Ontarians-- not just the minority that voted for you.
