If Ontario wants to keep in step with the rest of the world, or be a world leader, and leave a healthy environment for future generations; we must decrease our energy use by conservation and local production, eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels and nuclear, and massively increase our production and use of decentralized (produced on site where ever possible) clean, green, renewable and sustainable energy. This is entirely possible, and will be good for the economy, producing more healthy jobs and preventing toxification of our environment.
This may require a dramatic shift and effort such as we have seen in wartime in our parents generation, but is necessary for the survival of our species and the planet. Ontario can lead where the federal government is failing us.
I trust that our government has foresight and will lead us as any wise intelligent leader would. Sincerely,
Molly Mulloy
