The MZOs already circumvent environmental protective measures, by bypassing the planning process. It absolutely SHOULD NOT be allowed to bypass provincial policy statements that are put in place to protect the environment.
This only benefits developers and politicians. We need to keep our environmental protections, not throw them by the wayside in favour of short sighted progress.
