We've been this route before. Aggregate washing that consumes millions of gallons of what has been deemed by experts the world's purest water will surely diminish that water and the purity of the water. Environmental assessment of this proposal is certainly required but a major caveat should be an assessment of the actual need for the product produced, which is in good supply already in Ontario, weighed against the need to protect homeowner wells and a resource that is unique to this area and belongs not to companies intent on immediate profits but the present and future citizens of this area and Ontario in general.
