I do not understand how any one government can change the rules so that their specific vision runs rampant. Each government is given a limited tenure. The arrogance required to think that you can run roughshod over environmental protections is disheartening. Why it’s almost like privatizing senior healthcare, deregulating protections and then sitting on the board that has created a business out of people’s misery. Of course it is unthinkable the the person who did this would get the Order of Ontario! Anyway, I digress.

You shouldn’t be able to change laws unilaterally in order to push through a vision that is not shared by your constituents. Even if the vision is a shared one, we live in a democracy and all laws should be passed by consensus not imposed.
