The Power given to Ministers…

The Power given to Ministers to enact MZOs that override the democratic process and the planning act are a bad idea. The conservative government should stop using MZOs.
The world is in climate crisis. The protections for nature are very limited already in Southern Ontario. A good government would protect nature, farmland , wilderness areas, headwaters, streams, animal habitat and so on. A good government that cared about citizens and their future would enhance the powers and budgets of Conservation Authorities.
With climate change we may have flooding, high winds, loss of agriculture from weather issues, drought, tornados, etc . Climate will be tempered by natural areas. They are more essential than ever.
