I am writing to express my significant concerns about the proposed changes to Bill 257 (Supporting Broadband and Infrastructure Expansion Act, 2021). As a resident of Ontario I am demanding that Schedule 3 be removed from Bill 257. This proposed change puts many of the things that I value about our province at risk, including the many benefits provided by Ontario’s farmland and natural areas, flood control, local food, water purification, carbon sequestration, biodiversity conservation, recreational opportunities and more. I urge you to consider the health, safety, and lives of current and future generations of Ontarians, as well as our natural environment, and remove Schedule 3 from Bill 257.
