It seems highly inappropriate and not in the best interest of Ontario's people to provide a loophole for the Province to bypass key guidance and requirements put in place by the PPS. The PPS is developed and regularly updated to meet the latest requirements, understanding and knowledge as related to planning. Why should the Province or it's designated projects be able to bypass this? The measures of the PPS and the planning act are in place for a reason.
I am strongly against this proposal.
