I am appalled by the proposed legislation. In 2021 we should recognize that development at any cost in the end costs all of us. We cannot have a healthy economy without a healthy environment and healthy people. Ministerial Zoning Orders should be used with great discretion. The Provincial Policy Statement should be respected. Environmental legislation should not be dismantled at the whim of whichever party is currently in government. We and future generations benefit from maintaining functioning ecosystems of all types. You can't eat, breathe or drink money.
