Ontario should join the global movement toward 100% renewable energy to fight climate change, end our reliance on risky and costly nuclear power and eliminate the risks and radioactive waste produced by nuclear reactors.
The next energy plan should require nuclear projects to be compared to renewable energy options as the latter have become increasingly more cost effective and all around the 'right' choice for our future and our kids future.
Ontario’s next energy plan needs to ensure Ontarians can take advantage of the declining cost of renewables.
