This province needs to stop wasting time and money on wind turbines and solar
electricity generation. The electrical infrastructure in this province is
aging and these forms of electrical generation do very little to produce
consistent, reliable, cost competitive electricity to our province. These
forms of generation also do very little to produce REAL, LONG TERM jobs in our
province. If we continue to invest in these technologies, we are going to
drive electricity prices so high that it will force out all remaining
industries and product producing jobs in this province.
This province needs to focus its time and money on rebuilding its Nuclear
Fleet. Nuclear Energy is low cost, reliable and has a low emission output,
which increases our air quality. Nuclear energy also creates real jobs for
people that live in this province. Ontario was once a world leader in Nuclear
Technologies. This lead was lost during the 1990’s. Now, is the time for this
province to once again lead the way for the next generation of Nuclear Energy.
