Nature trails in conservation areas have been so helpful for my family's wellbeing over the years, especially during the pandemic. Taking away parking and maintenance of trails would take away the opportunity for healthy, safe activities during the continuing pandemic. It would also take away opportunities for inexpensive outdoor and conservation education, not to mention the benefits of spending time outside on mental and physical health. Please reconsider cutting funding of amenities in conservation areas, they are, in my opinion, essential. We are in a climate crisis and it is essential to help the next generation connect to, understand and care for the environment.
