This bill should not go through. Conservation areas are vital to each community and giving municipalities the power to deny funding to them is a death sentence. We all know, especially over the last year, how outdoor activities are critical to mental health and the well-being of a community. These areas are more that just an outdoor place, they are an escape to calm and quiet in a crazy, busy world and so needed. There's nothing like walking with the forest around you, listening and seeing wildlife, it's just breathtaking. We can't risk 'they paved paradise and put up a parking lot' or condos, or whatever else.Please do not allow this bill to pass, we need to save these areas for many years to come.
