In a small municipality this new regulation will make it impossible for an already strapped conservation authority to take on more. The expectations that some services will become mandatory, without an additional increase in operating funds from the province, will create issues of capacity for small regional conservation authorities. If the province feels that these regulations are necessary for the health and well being of the environment, the continued stewardship of the conservation area, and the education of the public, then please give conservation areas increased funding to help them implement the new regulations.
