I do not support the proposed changes to the Conservation Authorities Act. I think that Municipalities will have less ability to resist short-sighted development policies if they can undertake projects by shortcutting rules and public input.
The water resources of all Ontarians should have strong protections. These proposals undermine the ability of Conservation Authorities to protect our water and prevent flooding.
