Let's start with 1990…

Let's start with 1990 Conservation Authorites Act. Outdated and not supportive of the public. Did they ever think of climate change since 1990. It needs significant revisions including those changes to better support the public and land owners.
There mandate was to manage flood plains to protect people. Now they are a business trying to take peoples properties and they pretend to be biologists protecting nature. Thats not their job.They need to support land owners as they are the best caretakers of the land. Instead they drag their heals for emergency shoreline permits in hopes they can claim the land.
Oh let's change the zoning to hazard land, sterilize it and take it. They are are a parasite on peoples personal property rights and are not their to support people.
Times have changed and they need to be put in their place. Really they need to be dissolved because municipalities do the same things and they care about their citizens, and their is accountability. CA'S approve something for shoreline protection after way too much costs in studies and BS and then it does not work, the landowners property is damaged, and they walk away oh well, climate change hazard land. CA forced people to do this then they need to be held accountable.
They need to be dissolved. Counties do the same work. They can save money by not having to waste it on CA's and peoples property rights would be in a better place.
If they continue this should be their opening line "how can I help you and let's get to it!"
They have too much power and don't help anyone but themselves. Technology has changed and people can build on hazard land safely and we don't need them trying to tell us differently so they can take our land.
