The proposal is very concerning. Funding conservation areas is a critical investment in our environment. Such funding needs to include educational and outreach programming such as day programs for school aged and preschool children, daycamps, and especially programs that partner with local agencies such as First Nations language programs, eco/environmental programs, early childhood programming, and literacy/library programs. This is an investment in our future.
