I am deeply troubled by the proposal that could affect how citizens access our conservation areas. The numerous lockdowns this year have highlighted the importance of nature for our mental health. My children and I used our trails daily and I feel that they are vitally important to our physical and mental well being. Our governments should be considering the well being of its citizens in every decision it makes. These trails also help connect us to our natural world and reinforce how important the health of our ecosystems are to all of us.
