This comment is a detailed comment on the Designating Heritage Properties Guide.

This guide could be greatly improved with some user testing with a randomly chosen member of a municipal heritage committee outside the GTA. There are far too many assumptions about the average citizen's knowledge of legal and planning terminology.
Also, it is hugely disappointing to discover so many typos in a document which the heritage community has been promised for at least five years.
