If everything is dropped for a development when you find archaeological resources, then everything should be dropped when a species at risk is found on a development site. I do not support this proposal. Exemptions should not occur for any species, those listed before or after 2017. Developers are doing well at the moment (they are not at risk), species at risk are not. If it isn't the government's job to protect species for the benefit of all Ontarians, then whose is it? Certainly not the developers. The government needs to do their job - no exemptions for species at risk.
