Thank you for accepting comments on ERO# 019-04363 and #019-04365 . These properties are located in a draft WHPA-Q (wellhead protection area for quantity) and SGRA (Significant Groundwater Recharge Area). The WHPA-Q is not currently in legal effect, and therefore, there are no legal requirements pertaining to the Clean Water Act that would apply. It is recommended that the Ministry and the applicant consider that policy requirements are being developed for inclusion in the applicable Source Protection Plan and policies may apply to these properties in the future.

It is our understanding that there is no Permit To Take Water (PTTW) for either of these sites. If this information is incorrect and there is consumptive water taking and / or a PTTW occurring or planned, please notify either the undersigned or Kyle Davis, Risk Management Official for Township of Puslinch.

I have attached maps showing the property and Wellhead Protection Areas for your reference. Wellington Source Water Protection is a municipal partnership between the Townships of Centre Wellington, Guelph / Eramosa, Mapleton, Puslinch, Wellington North, the Towns of Erin and Minto and the County of Wellington created to protect existing and future sources of drinking water.
