Walnut Hill Tree and Critter Farm Inc. is an Ontario calf cow operation in Rockwood, Ontario. We support the submission of Gravel Watch Ontario and CELA. Briefly, the creation of a new recovery permit which includes recovery of minerals from mining waste to be classified as ‘advanced exploration’ rather than ‘mine production’ is disturbing as the environmental effects of this permit have to be considered. Not sure why the government is considering this step. We are in a climate emergency. Why is the government not understanding the threat to life as we know it.
