Why would you want to amend…

Why would you want to amend the Environmental Assessment Act to exempt and/or allow less scrutiny on many projects?

Is it because you want no more opposition to projects such as the proposed highway 413 and the Bradford Bypass? Is it because of the opposition to your plan to destroy the habitat of nearly 30 endangered, threatened or at-risk species?

Are you all unaware that the planet called Earth is in a situation of extreme climate change, that it's an emergency — an emergency that requires every person, every town, every municipality, every province, and every country to throw out 'business as usual' and do everything possible to avert further floods, fires, hurricanes, melting polar ice caps and other catastrophes?

You should be strengthening the environmental assessment act, not shredding it into pieces.
