I strongly support protection of the south short of Prince Edward County. This distinct ecology, and importance of this region to birds and other animals is well known. As a resident of the area I spend lots of time walking, swimming and bird watching in the designated region. I have witnessed incredible damage from ATV use in particular, and strongly support prohibition of motorized vehicles. (There is also a non-trivial problem related to littering and overnight camping.) Regarding hunting, I think this should be prohibited except as allowed by Indigenous treaty right.
I support the strongest possible protection for this region -- provincial or national park status would be best.
