Absolutely we can not go ahead with this proposal. The government does not consider the cumulative effect of all its separate authorizations for harmful activities. For example, Blanding’s turtle has been subject to 1,403 separate approvals for harmful activities, all issued without any consideration of the overall impact on the species. So it is time to stop this nonsense. This project should not go ahead.
