Dear Minister Clark,
We need immediate protection of the Galt Paris Moraine.
Development has leapfrogged the existing greenbelt and Oak Ridges Moraine. There is significant pressure from Guelph to Paris. We must protect private land in addition to public land.
This special landform is home to many rare species.
It is also a cultural landscape that provides idyllic tourist landscapes.
Please reconsider the ministry’s position.
