Please include the electricity generated by waste heat that otherwise would have been exhausted or used to replace the heat from fossil fuel sources that do not offer as much benefits as making electricity. Technologies like organic rankine cycle have been accepted as renewable energy in many jurisdictions. The federal government has commissioned a study on the waste heat opportunities in Canada and many are in the Ontario and should be considered clean energy for credits at these facilities or sold in the market. Other jurisdictions and the OPA already recognized waste heat as renewable energy.
