I live in Bath near the LaFarge plant. It is less than a Km from me. It has taken me about five years to get them to knock down the NOX. It is still evident but not as pungent. I cannot comprehend the gall of the gasification plant (not too far away) to increase already liberal provincial pollution standards. It is a new build....that should have provided to meet the provincial standards if not exceed them.
It is unacceptable.
Industry tries to boast about continuous quality improvements. Such ought to be applied in this case.
My health is at stake as is my family.
Their application ought to be denied.
