This proposal is absurd.
I am assuming that it is for the new build of two years ago.
The assumption is that when it was built is would meet emission standards and now it cannot.
The approval should never have been given if that is the case.
If it is for the old station. It ought to have met compliance and this ought not be an issue.
I live in Bath.
I have been working on a resident committee with LaFarge...and they have implemented sprayers to reduce Nox emissions. The industry standards are to hit continuous quality improvement measures....not wiggle out of them.
I am against any loosing of thresholds to be met. It is my health and those of the people in the downwind fall out area.
