Hello,
I wanted to write to express my opposition to the exception to air quality standards being requested by the Lennox generating station. Reading through the material there does not seem to be any compelling reason to grant it, if the plant is unable to meet the standards when burning oil then it should no longer be permitted to burn oil.
A temporary exception from the new standards coming in to effect would be more reasonable but not an exemption from the standards that exist now.
My understanding is that part of the rational is that it is only a very limited amount of time that the plant is operating with oil. If this is to be part of the rational a maximum number of hours per month should be included if the exception goes ahead so it cannot be abused and used for more regular operation then claimed.
Thank you for your time.
